[history]: Rosetta grew up in Belgium before moving to France as child prodigy with the diabolo. By the age of ten she was famous, as well as being the youngest-ever winner of the world diabolo championships. However, between the stress of touring, pressure from her manager (who is also her mother), and the fact that being a professional performer so young impacted her ability to understand what made audiences enjoy her shows, she began to lose out on important engagements and began to get a reputation as too difficult to work with and not worth the cost of hiring for appearances. After nearly losing out on an engagement with the famous Kaleido Stage, she agreed to put together a show with an amateur performer and when the improvised “diabolo battle” proved to be a hit, Rosetta returned to touring privately around the world to improve her performance skills and has only signed show contracts with the Kaleido Stage since.
[personality]:Strong-willed, confident, and aware of her own ability, Rosetta can come off as grating and egocentric at first glance. However, because of her reputation as a child prodigy, she is very susceptible to criticism and takes it very hard when her flaws are pointed out. She can be closed-off around strangers but if they can gain her respect in any way she is an extremely affectionate and loyal friend. Rosetta is quite monofocused and doesn’t understand how “normal people” outside of the performance world think or behave and doesn’t have much interest in learning, though she spends lots of her time with her peers trying to learn how they tick and their personal quirks to incorporate into her own training. She can be somewhat ambiguous in her affections, due mostly to her young age, but she gets fixated on her love interests no matter if they notice or not; she doesn’t stalk them, but she will attach herself to them whenever they will let her, and isn’t shy to say and show exactly what she feels, if it’s positive at least. Finally, Rosetta’s ambition is limitless, and the biggest thing she looks for in others, whether they are work peers, possible friends, or love interests, is that they be someone that she can admire and learn from.
